| Introduction |
|
| On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to invite you to participate in the next Asia-Pacific Winter Conference on
Plasma Spectrochemistry, which will be held at the Ramada Hotel in Jeju Island(Korea) from August 26 to August 29, 2012.
The Asia-Pacific Winter Conference on Plasma Spectrochemistry has positioned itself as a privileged forum for the discus-
sion of the most relevant advances, as well as the challenges remaining, in Plasma Spectrochemistry. The next edition will
feature lecture and poster sessions covering the latest in plasma fundamentals, laser-assisted methodologies, isotopic
analysis, imaging and speciation techniques, metallomics and nanotechnology, among other topics. A number of selected
free short courses will also be programmed. See you in Jeju Island !. Prof H.B. Lim Chairman of 2012 Asia-Pacific Winter
Conference on Plasma Spectrochemistry |

| Purpose |
|
| To provide a forum for discussion and presentation of the most current issues in analytical sciences: atomic spectroscopic
fundamentals and applications, laser-assisted analytical techniques, such as AAS, GFAAS, ICP-AES, and ICP-MS, micron
ebulization, imaging and speciation techniques, metallomics and nanotechnology, mass spectrometry, and analytical tech
niques related to international environmental and regulations issues. |
|
| Scope of the Conference |
|
| The conference will bring together international participants experienced in fundamental aspects, instrumentation and applications. Plenary conferences related to all the topics mentioned in the purpose will be scheduled.
